Alpaca wool - more luxurious than cashmere
The alpaca fiber is one of the most valuable and exclusive natural fibers that exists. It is the "gold of the Andes" and was also called the "fleece of the gods" because it was exclusively for the royal families in the Inca empire. In Royal Alpaca quality, the fiber is finer than cashmere and much more valuable than sheep's wool.

Alpaca wool is now valued by designers all over the world as one of the finest natural wool fibers and is becoming increasingly popular. Just a few years ago, cashmere was considered the finest wool quality, but many connoisseurs are discovering the soft and elegant natural fiber for themselves and appreciating its outstanding properties. Alpaca fiber grows as a renewable raw material in 22 natural colors on local meadows. To wear an anthracite-colored sweater, no chemical dye is necessary! Which natural fiber can do that?
Alpaca fiber is silky soft, has a naturally elegant shine, is resistant to pilling and is ideal for allergy and neurodermatitis sufferers because it contains no lanolin.
Alpaca fiber is odorless. They have an antibacterial effect and thus neutralize sweat odors.
At a lighter weight, alpaca wool is approximately five times warmer than sheep's wool, incredibly resilient and tear resistant. A precious raw material from which favorite pieces are refined for a long time. The combination with our linen badding made of 100% natural linen forms the perfect sleeping companion and contributes to improving the quality of sleep.
The duvets are ideal for summer and winter months, because alpaca hair is feather-light and thermoregulating. Thus, natural textiles made of alpaca ensure an optimal heat balance on the skin: cooling and insulating when it is warm and warming when it is cold.

Our alpacas Yoshi and Malu are pure fiber suppliers, are actively cared for and dearly loved. They enjoy fresh pasture grass and hay right in front of the stable door for a long alpaca life.
Care:
Alpaca fiber has a natural cleaning effect and therefore does not need to be washed. If you still want to wash a duvet for personal reasons, we recommend washing it very carefully and only by hand at a maximum of 30°C. The quality of the fiber becomes more and more felted with every wash. Simply airing out works best. Ideally, you should hang the blanket outside in the morning when it is foggy, so the blanket is refreshed most gently.

Noch vor wenigen Jahren galt Kaschmir als feinste Wollqualität, doch viele Kenner entdecken die weiche und elegante Naturfaser für sich und schätzen deren herausragende Eigenschaften. Alpaka Faser ist seidig weich, besitzt einen natürlich edlen Glanz, ist unempfindlich gegen Pilling und ist bestens für Allergiker und Neurodermitiker geeignet, da sie kein Lanolin enthält.
Alpakafaser ist geruchsneutral. Sie haben eine antibakterielle Wirkung und neutralisieren somit Schweißgerüche.
Bei geringerem Gewicht ist Alpakawolle ungefähr fünfmal wärmer als Schafwolle, unglaublich widerstandsfähig und reißfest. Ein kostbarer Rohstoff, aus dem Lieblingsstücke für lange Zeit veredelt werden. Die Kombination mit unserer Bettwäsche aus 100% Naturleinen bildet den perfekten Schlafbegleiter und trägt zur Verbesserung der Schlafqualität bei.
Die Bettdecken sind bestens für Sommer- und Wintermonate geeignet, denn Alpakahaar ist federleicht und thermoregulierend. Somit sorgen Naturtextilien aus Alpaka für einen optimalen Wärmeausgleich auf der Haut: Bei Wärme kühlend-isolierend und bei Kälte wärmend.

Pflege:
Alpakafaser hat einen natürlichen Reinigungseffekt und muss deshalb nicht gewaschen werden. Sollten Sie dennoch aus persönlichem Empfinden ein Duvet waschen wollen, empfehlen wir, sehr vorsichtig und nur von Hand zu waschen, bei max. 30°C. Die Qualität der Faser verfilzt sich bei jedem Waschgang. Einfaches Auslüften bewährt sich am besten. Idealerweise hängen Sie die Decke morgens bei Nebel nach draussen, so reinigt sich die Decke am Schonendsten.
